In 2022, I was entrusted with the task of revitalizing "MADE," an annual visionary initiative that originally revolutionized the fashion industry back in 2009, heralded as the pioneering disruptor of traditional fashion weeks and celebrated for nurturing the talents of now-renowned fashion luminaries such as Hood by Air and Telfar.

After a 3 year hiatus, we orchestrated a grand relaunch of "MADE" with a spectacular array of events. Our fashion shows showcased promising emerging designers as they unveiled their inaugural runway collections, complemented by live DJ sets and musical performances by none other than rapper Nas. To amplify the occasion, we curated engaging panels featuring personalities from both the music and fashion realms, fostering valuable discussions and collaborations. Additionally, we provided a dynamic marketplace platform for over 30 local brands to showcase and sell their exceptional products.

As a key player in this revival, my responsibilities involved crafting marketing materials for the brands, sponsors and talent featured in the event, ideating compelling promotional assets for our social media channels, securing influencers to host and promote the occasion, and capturing captivating content during the event, guided by strategic initiatives I developed.

With only two months to raise awareness and generate ticket sales, a total of 6000 attendees RSVPed, testifying to the success of the "MADE" relaunch. The event was a result of the collective passion and dedication invested by our team, ensuring that "MADE" reclaimed its position at the forefront of the fashion world, fostering innovation and nurturing the next generation of creative visionaries.
