NYFW: THE SHOWS

  • As the key strategist, I've spearheaded over 40 creative partnership campaigns, encompassing marketing strategy, talent acquisition, and content production for a diverse range of brands spanning beverage, fintech, entertainment, home & living, and fashion industries.

  • In addition, I've orchestrated seasonal event marketing initiatives, such as event pop-ups, fashion shows, and branded activations, resulting in extensive media coverage and heightened brand recognition.

  • My role also involves cultivating robust relationships with sponsors, vendors, and media partners, skillfully negotiating contracts and collaborations to secure valuable support and resources for New York Fashion Week & Fashion Week.

AFTERPAY

During the New York Fashion Week seasons spanning September 2021 to February 2023, I’ve assumed the role of a marketing strategist collaborating with Afterpay, the key sponsor seeking to establish its presence in the high fashion space. With a focus on driving awareness and event attendance, I focused my efforts on  content production, securing talent, and crafting effective digital marketing strategies. We focused on hosting over 15 experiential events, in which I’ve worked with over 20 designers and engaged more than 50 influencers.

  • Afterpay Quarter: Activities at the Quarter included DJ sets, a roller rink, treat giveaways, free swag, a Maison Kitsune runway show, and exclusive pop-ups by leading brands including Revolve, Crocs & more.

  • Keys to NYFW: Merging the worlds of web5 and high fashion through consumers purchasing NFT "Keys" created by designers to unlock unique New York Fashion Week experiences and limited edition items. All proceeds were donated to Free Arts NYC.

  • RunwayX: Four days of runway shows featuring eight next-gen designers at the hub of NYFW, Spring Studios.

  • Afterpay XPerience: An immersive takeover of Spring Studios' ground floor, featuring designer showcases, talks, photo moments, workshops, live screenings and a chance to sit front row at a designer show.

Content Marketing

I led all aspects of custom content production surrounding New York Fashion Week, including providing creative direction to our production team, sourcing influencers, and ideating influencer campaigns.

Over the course of February 2022-FEBRUARY 2023 New York Fashion Week, I interviewed six Black In Fashion Council designers on their brand missions, the importance of the #BlackInFashionCouncil, and reflected on the impact that the late André Leon Talley had on their careers. I managed sponsorship relationships with E!, Afterpay, Grand Marnier, Love Sac, Alo Yoga, and more. I provided deliverables such as content calendars, landing pages, dedicated email blasts, Instagram lives, social takeovers, on-site video/ photo production, copywriting, general best practices, etc. I was responsible for sponsors' overall strategic and integrated marketing, managing budgets per season.
